A major accident has caused significant disruptions to traffic in the Basso Garda area this afternoon, Saturday, July 19, along the A4 motorway between the Brescia Est and Desenzano exits. The incident occurred around 2:30 PM and involved a multi-vehicle collision that affected several cars and a total of 13 individuals, including four minors. Traffic jams quickly formed, halting the flow of vehicles heading towards Venice.
Emergency services were immediately alerted and dispatched two ambulances and a medical car to the scene of the accident. The Highway Police intervened to conduct the necessary investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the incident and manage traffic flow. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries among those involved, making hospital transfers unnecessary.
