In early May, several interventions are scheduled along the A4 Brescia-Padova highway, as announced by the relevant management company in the last few hours. These interventions will lead to changes in traffic starting from today, Friday, May 3rd, until Sunday, May 5th.
The first intervention involves the resurfacing of the road between Brescia Est and Desenzano. Due to the necessary construction work (from Km 241+000 to Km 238+000) in the eastbound lane (towards Venice) between the Brescia Est and Desenzano toll booths, traffic will be limited to a single lane from 10:00 PM on Friday, May 3rd, until 6:00 AM on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. The work will continue until 12:00 PM on Sunday, May 5th, 2024, but two lanes will be available for traffic.
The second intervention involves the renovation of safety barriers in the central median between Sommacampagna and Verona Sud. Due to the construction work (from Km 273+000 to Km 277+000) in the eastbound lane (towards Venice) between the Sommacampagna and Verona Sud toll booths, traffic will be limited to two lanes, with one lane having reduced width, during the night of Friday, May 3rd, 2024, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following day.
The management company has committed to making every effort to minimize the duration of the restrictions. The goal is to complete the work within the expected timeframe and restore full traffic as soon as possible.
