Dezenzanese Institute Alumni Gather to Honor Blessed Father Annibale Di Francia
Next Sunday, former students of the Dezenzanese institute of the Rogazionists will gather at the headquarters on Viale Motta for the first spring meeting: a reunion to revive old memories.
Explanations and context
«This year – explains Father Giovanni Cecca, assistant and coordinator of the center – the gathering will be dedicated to Blessed Father Annibale Di Francia on the 150th anniversary of his birth, which took place in Messina in 1851. The blessed founded the congregation with the aim of finding solutions to the problems of various forms of poverty: yesterday for orphans, today for the youth and young people in difficulty.»
Father Annibale was proclaimed Blessed by Pope John Paul II in ’90, and this new meeting will provide an opportunity to deepen spirituality and renew the objectives, organization, of our association.»
