The State Police patrol boat, expected to be operational by next spring, will be deployed on the lake to ensure greater security in Salò and the surrounding areas. The project, supported by the Chiefs of Police of Brescia and Verona, has received approval from the Ministry of the Interior and involves about fifteen municipalities in Brescia and Verona. Each municipality will contribute €4,857 to co-finance the outfitting of the patrol boat, which has already been funded by the Ministry with over €100,000. This new watercraft will be assigned to the Peschiera Nautical Unit, with the aim of enhancing navigation control and ensuring the safety of residents and tourists in the lake basin.
