A serious Gardesana accident occurred yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, July 22, in Torri del Benaco, specifically near Pai. A violent collision between a scooter and a car resulted in injuries to three foreign tourists. According to initial reports, the scooter carrying two French citizens collided with a vehicle transporting four German tourists; the causes of the accident are currently under investigation.
Emergency services responded promptly: an ambulance and a helicopter from the emergency medical service arrived at the scene to assist the injured. The scooter driver, a man in his fifties, was transported in serious condition but not life-threatening, to Borgo Trento hospital under red code. The passenger on the scooter sustained less severe injuries and was taken to the hospital under yellow code. The driver of the car involved was also taken to Pederzoli clinic for precautionary checks.
