Police in Lonato: Cocaine Dealing in a Public Parking Lot Leads to Arrest of 28-Year-Old from Brescia
. Recently, officers from the Anti-Crime Unit of the Desenzano Police Department arrested a 28-year-old man from Brescia, a first-time offender residing in Calcinato, who was found behaving suspiciously in a public parking lot. During their surveillance, the police observed a second individual approaching the vehicle, likely for a drug exchange. Acting quickly, they conducted a personal search and searched the car, discovering eight heat-sealed packages containing cocaine and 275 euros in cash, believed to be proceeds from illegal activities.
A subsequent search of the dealer’s residence uncovered additional packages of cocaine and a precision scale. The drugs and money were seized, and the individual was arrested on charges of drug trafficking. Police Chief Paolo Sartori also issued a ban preventing the young man from returning to the municipality of Brescia for four years following his release. Should he violate this order, he could face up to 18 months in prison and a hefty fine.
