As of December 1st, Luca Bontempi is the new director of the Complex Structure of Cardiology and UTIC at the Desenzano del Garda hospital. With over twenty-five years of experience in the field, Bontempi has extensive training in arrhythmology, cardiac pacing, and electrophysiology, having worked at the Spedali Civili of Brescia and holding significant roles in the scientific community. He has performed more than 10,000 specialized procedures and is currently also a contract professor at the University of Brescia. In his new role, Bontempi aims to improve emergency and urgent care pathways and enhance outpatient and preventive services. He emphasizes the importance of collaboration with general practitioners to ensure effective and continuous care for patients.
