On December 7th, starting at 5:30 PM, the winter season in Manerba del Garda will come alive with a grand event that will unite the community in Piazza Aldo Moro. This inaugural evening will feature two main attractions: the lighting of the Minerva Luces decorations and the official opening of the traditional Mechanical Nativity Scene. The square will transform into an open-air planetarium thanks to 360-degree video projections, offering an exhilarating experience that blends science and faith. Shortly thereafter, at the nearby Church of San Giovanni, visitors will have the chance to admire the Mechanical Nativity Scene, a captivating work that has enchanted audiences for over twenty years. This event is not merely an inauguration; it is a moment of unity for Manerba del Garda, where everyone is invited to share in the magic of winter. Luca Beltrami, the Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Tourism and Culture, emphasized the significance of the day as a symbol of hope and belonging for the community. The inauguration will also mark the beginning of a rich calendar of winter events, with the Mechanical Nativity Scene open until January 25th for families and visitors during the holiday season.
