The case of the Lonato del Garda murder has seen a new development with the funeral of Dolores Dori, which took place this morning in a private ceremony at the cemetery of Prozzolo di Camponogara, as ordered by the Chief of Police of Venice, Gaetano Bonaccorso. Dolores, 43, had been shot three times on October 2nd inside the nomadic camp where she lived and was subsequently abandoned in front of the hospital in Desenzano, where she passed away. The funeral service was held at 6:30 AM, with the body transported from the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Brescia and monitored by law enforcement to ensure safety. Investigations into the case are ongoing, with allegations suggesting the involvement of both Dolores’s mother and son, who are accused of attempted murder against the shooters. The conflict reportedly erupted during an attempt by the family to reclaim Dolores due to relational issues stemming from her relationship with a young man from the camp. The carabinieri are currently searching for the father-in-law who fled after the incident and will cross-reference information obtained from the autopsy with the inspections carried out at the shooting site and the ongoing ballistic examinations.
