The SP 38 Strada della Forra was reopened today, Friday, August 29, at 2:00 PM, following a precautionary closure lasting 24 hours due to a weather alert. The decision made by the Province of Brescia came after a site inspection by technicians who assessed the stability of the area, particularly concerning the risk of falling rocks. With the weather alert lifted and after consulting with a geologist, the road was reopened.
Traffic on Strada della Forra is one-way, ascending from Tremosine, with a speed limit set at 30 km/h. It is important to note that pedestrian access and entry for heavy vehicles, motorhomes, and trailers remain prohibited. Traffic will be regulated according to the provisions already in effect since August 1.
