On Sunday, October 19th, San Felice del Benaco will host the traditional “La Via del Luccio” walk, an event that combines trekking and local culture. Organized by the association Le Vie del Benaco, the 10 km hike will begin at 9 AM from the sports field parking lot on Via Marconi and will last approximately six hours. Participants, guided by Elisa Bodei, will have the opportunity to explore the fishing traditions and historical aspects of the area. During the stop at the Portese harbor, fisherman Ugo Cobelli will explain the art of pike fishing, followed by a tasting of the local specialty “luccio alla portesina.” Participation is free but requires mandatory reservation at the number 339.1756587. The luccio alla portesina, an emblematic dish of the local culinary tradition, has historical roots dating back to the 1800s and has been passed down orally over the years.
