Salò: Work Begins on the Third Phase at the Municipal Theatre. The Municipality has officially commenced work on the third phase, a crucial part of the renovation of the new Municipal Theatre, following the handover of the construction site to the appointed company in early May 2025. The interventions include significant infrastructural upgrades, such as the installation of a fire protection system and preparations for a future geothermal system. Additionally, external window frames will be installed, new internal walls will be constructed, an elevator will be added, and dressing rooms for artists will be created.
To facilitate these works, temporary modifications to traffic will be necessary, affecting Via and Piazza San Bernardino. In the first phase, until the end of September, a large portion of the area will be closed to vehicular traffic and parking. Subsequently, from the end of September to December, there will be a partial reopening of Via San Bernardino with traffic restrictions. The overall duration of the renovation phase is estimated to be 365 days from the date of the site handover. The municipal administration encourages everyone to cooperate during this transitional period to ensure the success of this cultural project that will enrich the local community.
