A young man has been reported for driving under the influence in Valsabbia, after being stopped by the Local Police following a report received on the afternoon of Sunday, June 22. The vehicle, observed speeding at high velocity, raised concerns about the possible impaired condition of the driver. The promptly alerted officers managed to intercept the car and bring it to a safe stop.
Subjected to a breathalyzer test, the young man recorded a blood alcohol level of 2.46 grams per liter, nearly five times over the legal limit of 0.5 g/l. This result led to the immediate revocation of his driver’s license and the filing of a report against him with the Public Prosecutor’s Office for driving under the influence, highlighting the seriousness of the situation and the commitment of law enforcement to ensuring road safety.
