On Sunday, June 29, **Bardolino** will host the sixth edition of the event “Clean Lake,” dedicated to the **cleaning of the lakebed** of Lake Garda. Approximately eighty divers, organized by the Gas Diving School, will dive into the waters starting at 10:00 AM, gathering at the Experimental Fish Farming Center park in Bardolino. The initiative is supported by various local institutions and aims to raise community awareness about the importance of respecting the lake environment.
During the event, around sixty divers will be assisted by volunteers on land and boats from local associations to collect waste found in the lakebed. Michele Girelli, president of Gas Diving and coordinator of the event, emphasized that the collected materials will be sorted and disposed of with the help of the Ecology Office of the Municipality of Bardolino. Additionally, law enforcement and the ambulance boat from the Italian Red Cross will be present to ensure safety during the operations.
