Lonato del Garda will host the ISSF World Cup at Trap Concaverde from July 5 to 13, attracting over 550 athletes from 74 countries to compete in the Olympic disciplines of Trap and Skeet. The event, organized by the Italian Shooting Federation (FITAV) and the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), was officially presented at the headquarters of the Lombardy Region in the presence of various authorities, including the Undersecretary for Sports and Youth, Federica Picchi. Trap Concaverde has previously hosted numerous international events and is prepared to take on this fourth leg of the World Cup.
During the event, the FITAV Awards will also take place on July 8 at the Rocca di Lonato, where two renowned shooters, Silvana Maria Stanco and Andrea Benelli, will be honored. The vice president of FITAV emphasized the importance of the event for the local area, while the president of Trap Concaverde expressed gratitude for the support received from the Lombardy Region and partners. With a consistent commitment to organization, the ISSF World Cup is set to be a prestigious event for clay shooting.
