A tragic accident occurred last night, Saturday, June 28, around 7:30 PM, on Via Navene Vecchia in Malcesine, where a 90-year-old woman, Lucia Chincarini, was struck by her grandson while he was maneuvering a van in the courtyard of their home. Despite the immediate intervention of the 118 helicopter and the resuscitation attempts by the emergency responders, the woman unfortunately did not survive the serious injuries sustained in the incident.
The carabinieri arrived at the scene to begin an investigation and reconstruct the dynamics of what happened. At this time, no further information has been released regarding the circumstances that led to the accident.
