Fatal accident in Malcesine: elderly woman hit at home
A fatal incident occurred in Malcesine on the evening of Saturday, June 28, when a 90-year-old woman, Lucia Chincarini, died after being struck by a van in the courtyard of her home on Via Navene Vecchia. According to initial information provided by the carabinieri, the vehicle was driven by a relative of the victim who, while reversing, accidentally ran over the elderly woman.
The alert was raised around 7:30 PM, and emergency services, including the air ambulance, arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, the injuries sustained by the woman were too severe, and all attempts at resuscitation proved futile, resulting in her death at the scene. Authorities are now investigating the circumstances that led to this tragic situation.
