Fatal accident in Limone sul Garda: tragic incident on the western Gardesana
A fatal accident occurred along the Western Gardesana in the late afternoon of Monday, July 7, resulting in the tragic death of Sebastiano Bertera, a 30-year-old resident of Limone sul Garda. The incident took place just before 6 PM, at the border between Toscolano Maderno and Gargnano, while the victim was riding his motorcycle northbound, accompanied by a friend on another bike. During a left turn to enter a side road, the motorcycle collided with the front left side of a Volkswagen station wagon carrying two Danish tourists.
Two ambulances and a rescue helicopter were dispatched to the scene; however, there was nothing that could be done for Sebastiano, and his death was confirmed immediately. The two occupants of the car, who were on vacation in the area, were unharmed, and tests conducted revealed no alcohol or drugs in their blood.
