An important emergency operation took place today, Wednesday, July 9, in Desenzano del Garda, where a propane leak occurred at the Keropetrol gas station on Via San Benedetto. The Fire Brigade was called to manage the situation, involving specialized teams from the Nbcr units of Brescia and Monza Brianza, as well as operators from Castiglione delle Stiviere and Salò. Authorities are currently working to contain the leak and store the spilled material.
To ensure the safety of the area, law enforcement and the Carabinieri have cordoned off the zone and redirected traffic. The suspension of electricity in the surrounding area was also necessary while tests are being conducted to disperse the propane tank. The situation is being closely monitored to prevent any further risks.
