Riva del Garda: Free Shuttle Service Launches for the Entire Summer. Starting today, Saturday, July 12, the Municipality of Riva del Garda, in collaboration with Trentino Trasporti, has launched the free public transport service “Rivetta.” This new sustainable mobility system will operate until September 14 and provides a parking area along with a free shuttle that connects the historic center to various parts of the city. The two available lines will ensure connections between the Baltera parking area, the Degasperi neighborhood, and the beaches, thereby enhancing accessibility for both residents and tourists.
Mayor Alessio Zanoni emphasized the importance of mobility as a crucial challenge for the future of the area. The “Rivetta” service has been funded by a significant investment from the Municipality, amounting to 90,000 euros. The shuttles will operate daily from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM with a frequency of approximately 15 minutes; while parking is free for residents and holders of the Crew Card, other users will be able to use it for a fee of 3 euros per day. Additionally, until September 28, a free connection between Baltera and Pregasina will be available on weekends and public holidays, with extra services during the local festival.
