According to initial reports, the young girl was near the pedestrian crossing when the motorcyclist was unable to avoid her. Following the impact, emergency services were alerted, and an ambulance along with a 118 helicopter arrived on the scene to transport the girl to Borgo Trento hospital in Verona under yellow code; fortunately, her condition does not appear to be serious.
The carabinieri have launched an investigation to determine the dynamics of the accident and to carry out the necessary assessments. Meanwhile, the situation along the Gardesana Orientale has caused long traffic jams and disruptions, necessitating temporary measures to manage the vehicle flow in the area affected by the incident.
