Inauguration of the new local police headquarters in Bardolino
Bardolino inaugurated this morning the new headquarters of the local police on Via Leopardi, marking a significant step in the enhancement of security services for citizens. The offices, now open to the public, have been relocated from Palazzo Gelmetti to a renovated building that was previously unused. The renovation included a complete overhaul of the interior spaces and upgrades to the facilities, aiming to create a modern and functional environment for both the officers and the community.
Mayor Daniele Bertasi emphasized that this investment not only improves accessibility for citizens, thanks to its strategic location near parking areas, but also enhances the operational capacity of the local police, which consists of 9 permanent officers and seasonal staff. The new headquarters is designed to meet the demands for rapid intervention during the tourist season, thereby ensuring more effective service. Commander Francesco De Santis highlighted the importance of these new spaces in improving the daily operational efficiency of the local police force.
