The 40th edition of the Salò Sail Meeting successfully concluded on Sunday, July 13, in the heart of summer, thanks to the impeccable organization by the Società Canottieri Garda. In this historic event of Lake Garda sailing, a total of 25 boats participated in the races, including 12 Protagonists, 8 Fun boats, and 5 Meteors, competing in a racecourse energized by a steady wind of 9 knots. The ultimate victory of the Salò Sail Meeting Trophy went to Casper, helmed by Lorenza Mariani, who managed to turn her position around after starting in third place.
The other rankings saw El Moro, helmed by Giulia Barbera, taking second place, while General Lee led by Mauro Spagnoli secured third. In the Fun class, the trophy was won by Wanderfundi of Alberto Azzi, while Synergos of Mattia Bustos Battocchio triumphed among the Meteors. This event not only celebrates the local sailing tradition but also continues to attract the attention of enthusiasts thanks to its competitive and spectacular format.
