Riva del Garda: Summer Cinema and Cultural Events Not to Be Missed

Riva del Garda is preparing to host the event “Cinema Estate,” which will take place from July 29 to August 12 in the picturesque courtyard of the Rocca. This cultural event features a selection of silent films that have marked the history of cinema, accompanied by live music. The festival will kick off on Tuesday, July 29, with Alfred Hitchcock’s 1929 thriller “Blackmail,” screened in its silent version and enhanced by the music of Maestro Massimo Giuntoli. The program will continue on Tuesday, August 5, with Charlie Chaplin’s classic “The Kid,” and will conclude on Tuesday, August 12, with Ernst Lubitsch’s satirical comedy “The Oyster Princess.”

Admission to the event is free, and in case of inclement weather, screenings will be held at the auditorium of the Conservatory. This initiative is organized by the cultural center La Firma in collaboration with the Municipality of Riva del Garda, offering an unmissable opportunity for cinema lovers and enthusiasts of the local summer culture.
