Violence in Desenzano del Garda: arrest of 20-year-old after assault on carabinieri
A 20-year-old girl has been arrested in Desenzano del Garda after attacking a carabinieri officer during a traffic stop. The incident occurred during the night between Thursday, July 17, and Friday, July 18, when the young woman, of Indian descent, was pulled over for driving irregularly and under the influence. Her violent reaction led to insults and shouting, culminating in one of the officers sustaining a broken finger while trying to calm her down.
After several minutes of tension, the girl was arrested on charges of violence and resistance to a public official. The following day, she was taken to the Brescia court for a direct trial.
