Castiglione delle Stiviere joins the Garda Community
The Garda Community has officially welcomed the municipality of Castiglione delle Stiviere, thereby strengthening its associative base. This membership was celebrated by Senator Mariastella Gelmini, the president of the Community, who expressed gratitude to Mayor Enrico Volpi for this significant step. Gelmini emphasized how the inclusion of the Mantuan municipality contributes to enhancing not only Lake Garda but also its precious hinterland, from the morainic hills to the Alto Mincio.
The meeting took place at the Community’s headquarters in Salò, where Gelmini highlighted the importance of joining forces to protect and promote the entire Garda area. She also referred to the recent expansion of the organization, which continues to grow and establish itself in the territory, while recalling the planned exit of the municipality of Riva del Garda from the association starting January 1, 2026.
