Castiglione delle Stiviere launches an app to reward purchases in local shops as part of an initiative aimed at supporting the city’s commercial activities. The municipal administration has introduced a “loyalty program” that will allow citizens to accumulate points by shopping at local stores, which can be redeemed for prizes and discount vouchers upon reaching specific goals. The system will be managed through a downloadable app on mobile devices, with the intention of encouraging commerce and enhancing local businesses.
The project was presented by Mayor Enrico Volpi, who emphasized the importance of safeguarding commercial activities for the well-being of the community. Shop owners interested in participating can express their interest until September 30, 2025, using a form available on the official website. The Councilor for Productive Activities, Giovanni Grasso, added that the costs associated with the app will be partially covered by the municipal administration, hoping for active participation from business owners to create a synergistic system in support of local commerce.
