Health emergency in Padenghe: heart attack after running race

On Wednesday evening, a 65-year-old man suffered a heart attack after participating in a running event in Padenghe, on Via Italo Barbieri. The incident occurred around 8:30 PM, when the man collapsed immediately after the race. Emergency medical teams present at the event responded quickly, while 112 was contacted for additional support.

The operations center dispatched a medical car, a nursing unit, and an ambulance from Garda Emergenza. The 65-year-old was in cardiac arrest and received prolonged resuscitation before being stabilized. He was then urgently transferred to Desenzano Hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition. As of the following night, he had not yet been declared out of danger, highlighting the seriousness of the situation and the importance of the emergency medical response initiated at the scene.
