An accident occurred this afternoon, Sunday, July 27, along the A4 highway between Sirmione and Desenzano del Garda, resulting in significant repercussions on vehicle traffic heading towards Brescia-Milan. The incident was caused by a breakdown near the exit, leading to two separate chain collisions starting from 1 PM. Six vehicles were involved, and eleven individuals received assistance from emergency services; fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported.
The Verona Sud Traffic Police were on the scene to conduct the necessary investigations and manage the flow of traffic. Although the highway remained passable, there was a temporary reduction to a single lane, causing long queues and inconvenience for motorists passing through. The removal operations for the vehicles involved are currently underway to restore normal traffic conditions.
