The Lombardy Region has approved a resolution allocating over 4.5 million euros in reimbursements for municipalities, mountain communities, metropolitan cities, and provinces that have incurred expenses related to natural disaster events occurring between 2024 and June 30, 2025. This initiative, promoted by the Councillor for Security and Civil Protection, Romano La Russa, alongside the Councillor for Local Authorities, Massimo Sertori, aims to provide concrete support to local entities engaged in emergency management.
La Russa emphasized the significance of this intervention as assistance to administrations that have operated in critical situations to ensure support for the population and restore essential services. Sertori highlighted that the resolution establishes the criteria for granting contributions and acknowledges the role of local entities in addressing the challenges posed by natural disasters. Through this measure, the Region intends to reaffirm its commitment to the affected territories.
