Accidents on the A4 in Lower Garda: traffic blocked in Desenzano
This morning, Thursday, July 31, significant disruptions were reported along the A4 motorway in the Basso Garda area due to an A4 accident that caused considerable delays. Traffic issues began around 7:30 AM when an incident resulted in queues stretching up to 7 kilometers between the Desenzano and San Martino della Battaglia exits heading towards Brescia. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the occupants of the vehicles involved. After approximately an hour and a half, the situation appeared to be returning to normal; however, shortly after 10 AM, a second accident once again halted traffic in Desenzano, with long lines extending all the way to Peschiera.
The second accident involved two young individuals, aged 27 and 28; fortunately, there were also no reports of serious injuries in this case. The traffic situation then deteriorated again, creating further inconveniences for drivers heading towards Brescia. Road operators promptly took action to restore the flow of traffic in the area.
