Desenzano: serious road accident, motorcyclist hospitalized On Friday afternoon, a road accident occurred on Provincial Road 11, in the area of San Martino della Battaglia in Desenzano. Around 3 PM, a 50-year-old motorcyclist, a resident of Sirmione, was involved in a collision with a mini SUV traveling in the same direction. The impact was severe, causing the motorcyclist serious injuries, particularly to the head, prompting rescuers to request an urgent airlift to the Civil Hospital of Brescia, where the motorcyclist was admitted in critical condition.
The SUV was driven by a 45-year-old foreign woman, who fortunately did not sustain any injuries. To ensure safety during the rescue operations and secure the area, the roadway was temporarily closed to traffic. Officers from the Desenzano Local Police intervened to conduct the necessary investigations and manage the situation.
