The young athlete from Brescia, Andrea Consolini, will represent Italy at the Parkour World Games taking place in China on August 12 and 13. After securing the title of vice world champion in the Speed category in 2022, Consolini returns to compete among the best international traceurs, aiming to bring home a gold medal. His participation is the result of a journey that has seen him achieve significant results, including a prestigious second place at the World Urban Games in the United States and numerous successes in the World Cup.
Parkour, a sport and artistic discipline that originated in France in the 1980s, combines movement and physical expression through overcoming urban obstacles. Considered a lifestyle, parkour promotes creativity and adaptability to the surrounding environment.
