A major pile-up occurred today, August 3rd, causing significant traffic along the Gardesana, making it difficult for motorists to navigate the area. The incident took place around 10 AM in Gavardo, involving four vehicles and approximately 20 people, including a 4-year-old child. Despite the severity of the accident, no serious injuries have been reported.
Authorities promptly dispatched two patrols and rescuers to manage the situation, conducting investigations and ensuring the safety of the roadway. An alternating one-way system was implemented with the support of the carabinieri, leading to long queues and delays in one of the busiest stretches during the weekend by the lake.
