Manerba: Seasonal Worker by the Lake Caught Dealing Drugs The Local Police of Valtenesi arrested a 29-year-old man, employed as a seasonal worker at a local restaurant, on charges of drug dealing. The intervention took place in Manerba, where the young man was present for work-related reasons. Investigations revealed that he was supplementing his income by selling narcotics. He was caught outside several warehouses in an industrial area near Provincial Road 572, following multiple reports received by law enforcement.
During the check, he was accompanied by another young man, who was detained for drug use and was attempting to dispose of a joint. The seasonal worker was found in possession of 7 grams of hashish, and an additional 120 grams were discovered at his home during a search. Officers also seized a precision scale and packaging materials for the drugs. Although he had no prior convictions, he was already known as a drug user and is now facing charges of possession with intent to distribute. He has been placed under house arrest. However, the judge did not impose any precautionary measures after the validation of the arrest, postponing the trial to November 5. The seized drugs will be analyzed to determine their THC content. This operation is part of a broader anti-drug initiative conducted by the Local Police.
