Stolen e-bike in Pastrengo: a 37-year-old reported for receiving stolen goods

A 37-year-old resident of Pastrengo has been reported for receiving stolen goods after being caught riding a stolen e-bike valued at over 2,000 euros. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Saturday, August 23, during a routine check carried out by the Carabinieri in Nuvolera, where the officers noticed the electric bicycle matching the model that had been stolen a few days earlier from an elderly man in Nuvolento.

After verifying the vehicle’s identification number, the Carabinieri confirmed that it was indeed the same e-bike reported as stolen. The 37-year-old was unable to provide credible explanations regarding his possession of the bicycle and, as a result, was reported at liberty. The e-bike has been returned to its rightful owner.
