Change in command of the Naval Section: Captain Luca Boz at Lake Garda
Captain Luca Boz is the new Commander of the Naval Section of the Guardia di Finanza operating in the area of Lake Garda, following the handover ceremony held at the historic headquarters of the Arsenal Palace in Salò. The event was attended by Lieutenant Colonel of Special Services Roberto Di Luigi, who led the section until this transition. Boz’s appointment highlights the strategic importance of the Guardia di Finanza’s presence on Italy’s largest lake, which also oversees operations on Lake Iseo and along the Po River.
Having joined the force in 1991, Captain Boz has held various roles within the Corps, culminating in his recent assignment after serving as the commander of the Naval Operational Section in Portoferraio. With a degree in “Political Sciences” and extensive experience in economic and financial investigations, Boz was appointed Captain in December 2024 and is now preparing to lead the operations of the Fiamme Gialle with the aim of strengthening legality and community service in synergy with the territorial units.
