Weather alert and safety: possible closure of the Forra Road

Due to the orange weather alert issued by the Lombardy Region, the Province is considering the precautionary closure of the Forra Road, located in Tremosine. Tomorrow morning, Thursday the 28th, the Roads Sector of the Province of Brescia will conduct an assessment to decide whether to issue a temporary closure order for the SP 38, which was only reopened on August 1st. This measure is necessary to ensure the safety of traffic in light of the intense weather cell expected in the afternoon and the risk of rockfalls.

The final decision will be made after a careful analysis of the weather forecasts, with a possible reopening scheduled for Friday morning, pending verification by provincial technicians. In addition to the potential closure of the Forra Road, the SP 88 in Paspardo will also be closed from midnight tonight in anticipation of severe disturbances, while close attention remains on the SP 6 in Valsaviore, where the traffic light system will activate prohibitions in the event of landslide risks.
