Gardaland and sustainability: excellent results in Castelnuovo del Garda

Gardaland Resort, located in Castelnuovo del Garda, has received the “zero waste” certification from AENOR Italia for the third consecutive year, confirming that nearly 96% of the waste produced in 2025 has been valorized. This achievement is part of the park’s commitment to sustainability, which includes recycling and reuse activities within its facilities. With autonomous waste management, Gardaland has demonstrated effective cost reduction and minimized environmental impact, positioning itself as a leader in the industry on a global scale.

The certification process involved a rigorous analysis of waste management, with continuous monitoring of the practices implemented. Alberto Giacomello, Head of Environment, Sustainability and Landscape at Gardaland Resort, emphasized the significance of this result as an integral part of the company’s mission towards greater environmental responsibility. The reaffirmation of the certification not only represents an accomplished goal but also reflects the daily commitment of the staff in promoting sustainable practices within the park.
