Tremosine: closure of the Strada della Forra due to weather emergency
In Tremosine, the Strada della Forra has been closed since 2:00 PM due to the heavy rainfall associated with the current meteorological emergency. Technicians from the Road Sector of the Province of Brescia, in collaboration with geologists specialized in landslide monitoring, have issued an order prohibiting transit on SP 38 to ensure the safety of users, in response to the orange-level alert for hydrogeological risk issued by the Lombardy Region.
Despite the adverse weather conditions, the 24-hour monitoring system has not detected any significant movements of the rock face. After the meteorological emergency has passed, a site inspection will be conducted by technicians and geologists to assess the stability of the area before considering the reopening of the road, which normally allows one-way traffic from Tremosine with a prohibition on pedestrian access.
