Manerba del Garda: Alpine Gathering and Scheduled Cultural Events
Manerba sul Garda is preparing to welcome the Alpini Gathering, an event that will take place on September 6 and 7, promising to unite tradition, memory, and community. The event was announced at a press conference by Mayor Flaviano Mattiotti, who is also an Alpino, along with the president of the Salò “Monte Suello” Section, Sergio Poinelli. The organizers have worked closely with the local Alpini group to ensure a warm welcome for the participants. In the months leading up to the event, the local community has experienced a series of cultural events related to the gathering, helping to create a festive atmosphere with tricolor decorations.
During the event, over a thousand Alpini will parade through the streets of the town, accompanied by local bands. The program includes various activities, such as a triangular football tournament and moments of reflection in front of the monuments dedicated to the Fallen. Additionally, honorary citizenship will be granted to the National Alpini Association during the ceremony on September 7. This gathering represents not only a celebration of Alpine history but also an important opportunity for different generations to come together in the community of Manerba sul Garda.
