Federico Fellini Exhibition at the Salò Museum: Cultural Events and Successes

Until Sunday, August 31, the Museum of Salò is hosting the exhibition “From Drawing to Direction,” a cultural event dedicated to Federico Fellini. The exhibition features approximately 50 works, including drawings, sketches, and caricatures of the renowned director, many of which are being displayed for the first time in Italy. Alongside these, there is a wide selection of previously unseen photographs depicting Fellini on the sets of his films. Inaugurated on July 5, the exhibition has already attracted over 5,500 visitors, contributing to a total of around 25,000 attendees at the museum since late March.

In anticipation of the final weekend of the exhibition and coinciding with the event “Magic on the Gulf,” scheduled for Saturday, August 30, the Museum of Salò will extend its opening hours until 10:00 PM. Admission will be free for residents of Salò who have not yet had the chance to visit the exhibition or wish to see it again. Curated by Elena Ledda and Federico Grandesso, this initiative has involved significant collaborations, including the Fondation Fellini and the Fellini Museum Archive in Rimini, along with director Francesca Fabbri Fellini, the maestro’s granddaughter.
