Centomiglia Garda 2025: innovation and tradition in international sailing

On September 6th and 7th, 2025, the **75th International Centomiglia of Garda** will take place, an international sailing event organized by the Circolo Vela Gargnano, celebrating its 75th anniversary. This special edition features a renewed format that combines tradition and innovation, with the first day dedicated to the **Gargnano Trophy**, where boats will depart from Gargnano heading towards Desenzano and then return. The following day will host the **59th Roberto Gorla Trophy**, with a scenic course that will pass through Garda Trentino, including Limone del Garda.

Among the novelties this year is the introduction of an ORC compensation system, aimed at rewarding tactical and strategic skills rather than just speed. Two significant trophies will be awarded: the Bettoni Trophy for the overall ORC ranking and the Line Honour for the boat that crosses the finish line first in real time. Additionally, a Double Handed category has been introduced for smaller crews, and in conjunction with the Centomiglia, the Multicento event will also take place, reserved for multihulls. This event promises to attract sailors, enthusiasts, and tourists, further solidifying its prestige in the international sailing scene.
