A traffic accident occurred yesterday evening in Monzambano, when a car with two occupants veered off the road and crashed into a wall near the intersection with the Pille area. The alert was triggered shortly after 7:00 PM, as the vehicle was coming from Volta Mantovana and was carrying a 47-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman. Following the impact, the female passenger sustained severe abdominal injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Verona under critical condition.
The driver, fortunately unharmed, was taken to the emergency room in Mantova for further examination. Emergency medical services from 118 arrived on the scene with an ambulance and a medical car, alongside a patrol from the carabinieri to conduct the necessary investigations.
