Rail disruptions in Brescia: ongoing infrastructure enhancement
Rail disruptions have been announced between the stations of Brescia and Verona Porta Nuova, due to infrastructure and technological upgrades. Rete Ferroviaria Italiana has scheduled the suspension of train services on the weekends of September 5-7, 12-14, and 19-21, 2025, with interruptions expected from 10:35 PM to 8:00 AM the following day. These works will particularly affect the electric traction and signaling systems, which are crucial for the future interconnection between the existing line and the new high-speed/medium-speed line.
During these weekends, passengers are encouraged to check the RFI website or the digital channels of the railway companies for further details regarding the measures affecting train services and the trains involved. Customer service staff will also be available at ticket offices to assist users.
