Manerba: 50-Year-Old Criminal Arrested After Police Pursuit A 50-year-old man of Vietnamese descent, already known to law enforcement, was arrested by the Local Police of Valtenesi following a chase that took place in recent days between Moniga and Manerba along Provincial Road 572. The individual, driving a stolen car, attempted to flee at high speed, ignoring the patrol’s signal to stop. The pursuit ended when he lost control of the vehicle, crashing into a wall and being apprehended by officers after a brief struggle.
During the operation, officers discovered various burglary tools inside the car, including a bat, a pickaxe, and a folding knife. The 50-year-old has been charged with resisting a public official and reported for receiving stolen goods, as well as for the unlawful possession of tools intended for burglary. The arrest was validated by a judge who ordered the individual to report daily to the judicial police pending trial.
