Montichiari: woman arrested for cocaine trafficking near the parish hall
A 39-year-old woman was arrested in Montichiari by the Local Police after being caught dealing cocaine near the Vighizzolo parish. The operation, which took place on Friday, September 5, around lunchtime, was part of a targeted service initiated following numerous reports of illegal activities in the area. The woman, originally from Romania and residing in Lonato del Garda, attempted to flee in her Audi A3 while delivering a dose of cocaine to a customer. During her escape, she dragged an officer for several meters who was trying to stop her, leading to a high-speed chase.
The chase ended at the border with Calcinato, where the vehicle was intercepted. Officers found 50 euros on the woman, which she had received from the customer, whose purchased dose was confiscated. A subsequent home search uncovered an additional 28 doses of cocaine ready for sale and two precision scales. After her arrest, the detention was validated by the judge of the Brescia Court, who imposed a requirement for her to sign in regularly.
