Centomiglia 2025: S&YOU wins the sailing regatta
The 75th edition of the Centomiglia, one of the most prestigious sailing regattas in Europe, concluded with the victory of the one-design Dolphin 81 ITA 125 S&YOU, helmed by Paolo Masserdotti. The crew, which also included Renato Vallivero, Mause Samuelli, Alessandro Calzoni, and Cesare Claudani, showcased remarkable skill in managing the challenging weather and lake conditions, securing not only first place in the largest class with 22 boats entered but also an impressive 9th place in the overall ranking among over 100 participants. The regatta took place over two days of intense competition that tested the tactical abilities of the crews.
Throughout the competition, S&YOU successfully adopted a winning strategy by choosing the Brescia shore in the first race and maintaining a strong pace on the second day, which was marked by strong winds. Joining them on the podium were ITA 120 Marahute and Giorgina. The significant participation of the Dolphin 81 class highlights the energy and vitality of the local sailing sector, confirming its central role in the region’s nautical activities. The date for the next edition has already been set.
