Castelnuovo del Garda and Gardaland: the right to play for disadvantaged children

Over 100 children and young people from group homes had the opportunity to experience an unforgettable day at Gardaland, thanks to an initiative promoted by the OTB Foundation. This event took place over the past few weeks during four days filled with excitement, allowing participants to enjoy moments of play and freedom in the famous amusement park. The initiative is part of the “Magical Days Out” program by Merlin’s Magic Wand, aimed at ensuring the right to play for underprivileged minors. This project holds profound significance, especially in a social context marked by educational and material inequalities.

The event received support from educators at the involved facilities and represented an important opportunity for socialization and inclusion for the children. Arianna Alessi, Vice President of the OTB Foundation, emphasized how every smile from the participants contributes to building a more attentive and responsible society. Gardaland, for its part, reaffirmed its inclusive mission and commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance the experience of play as a fundamental educational and social tool for the growth of young children.
