Salò, City of Sport: Highlighting Events and Volunteering
During the weekend from Friday, September 12 to Sunday, September 14, Salò will transform into a vibrant stage for sports events and volunteering initiatives with the event “Salò, City of Sport.” The event, taking place in Piazza Vittoria and along the lakeside promenade, offers young people the chance to engage in various sports disciplines such as volleyball, basketball, karate, and rowing. The hours are set for Friday from 5 PM to 10 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 10 PM, with evening performances by competitive athletes scheduled for 8:30 PM.
Additionally, on Sunday, the 26th edition of Cento Associazioni will take place, an important exhibition dedicated to local volunteering. From 10 AM to 6 PM, the lakeside promenade will host booths from over a hundred associations operating in various sectors, from civil protection to culture. This day is designed to engage families and promote social commitment within the community, offering opportunities to meet with association representatives and participate in practical demonstrations.
